Set Up Your App License

With the setup App License in Joget, you can easily manage your application licenses to ensure smooth deployment and efficient resource utilization. To obtain, apply, and activate your application license efficiently and seamlessly, follow these steps:

Obtain app information

To obtain App License information, follow the steps below:

Log in to the Joget App Center as the administrator with Username and Password.
On the right side, select All Apps.
Click Import App.
Select Choose File to browse for your application.
Click Upload.
Note the App ID, Licensed To, and System Key values for use in Step 2 of Request your app license below.

Request your app license

To request your App License, follow the steps below:

On your web browser, go to the License Activation site.
Click App Protection & License and select Request App License link from the menu to access the license request form.
Complete all the fields in the form.

Note: The fields App ID, License Holder / Licensed to, and System Key are data obtained in Step 1 of Obtain app information

Once you have completed all the fields, click Submit.
After submitting your Request for App License form, you will receive an email with the App License Key within 24 hours.

Activate your app license

To activate your App License, follow the steps below:

After receiving your App License Key, return to the protected application you imported in Step 1 in Joget.
Enter your administrative credentials and the App License key obtained in Step 2.
Click Submit.

Depending on your App License type, you may gain access to the builders to modify the App's design.

1. Protected App - Users with the correct App/Platform license(Licensee) can use AND edit/view the designs of the App.

2. Protected Readonly App - the design is locked and cannot be modified. User can only have access to use the app only. Only the owner of the App has access to view/edit the Design.

Once you activate the application with your license, you can start using it.

To publish it, click No published on the left side of your screen.
The Manage App Version pop-up will open. Select the Version and click Publish.
