Server Locale and Time Zone

You can define the system locale to display the following values in your Joget DX system automatically:
 
  • timezone
  • language
  • date format

Setting the System Locale and Using Locale Date Format checkbox allows you to control how date and language are presented system-wide.

How Locale Date Format is Determined?

The locale date format is determined using the Java libraries that Joget DX is built on. These libraries help retrieve and format date values according to the specified locale settings.

Here's an example using the default Expenses Claim app, specifically looking at the Created column with no formatter applied:

  • Date displayed with the en_US locale (mm/dd/yyyy)


  • Date displayed with the en_GB locale (dd/mm/yyyy)
