Introduction

Joget DX8 allows you to simplify process initiation by providing a direct link to run a process instance. By embedding the process link in an external page, you enable users to quickly and seamlessly start a process instance, improving usability and accessibility for your applications.

How does it work?

The "Link to Run Process" functionality generates a unique URL from the process's view. This URL acts as a trigger point to start a new process instance in Joget DX8.

Here’s a step-by-step overview:

1. Generate the Process Link: In Joget, obtain the URL for the process by navigating to the process's view and copying the link provided.

2. Embed the URL: Include the generated link into an external page using an iFrame or open it in a new browser tab/window. This allows users to interact with the process without directly accessing the Joget platform.
