Paragraph

The Paragraph Page Component in Joget DX 8 allows App Designers to add and format blocks of text within their application's pages. This component is versatile, supporting text decoration, image insertion, and table creation to enhance the presentation of information.

How does it work?

Test the paragraph in the built-in Joget DX 8 Showcase app to see how it works. Follow these steps:

1. Log in as Admin and click the Pencil icon on Joget DX 8 Showcase to open the App Composer.
   
2. Click the Joget DX 8 Showcase UI to create an environment for testing the Paragraph.
   
3. Drag and drop the Rich Text UI element into the New In DX 8 category (or anywhere you like).
4. Name your Label and Menu ID meaningfully, and write a description in the Content field of your Paragraph demo menu.
   
5. Click Edit Page Components to access the Paragraph page component.
   
6. Drag and drop the Paragraph component into the page for editing.
   
7. Use the Content field to write the necessary information. Utilize the available features to decorate the text, insert images, and create tables.

Configure paragraph

To configure the Paragraph component properties, in UI Builder, drag and drop the Rich Text UI element into any category to enable the button Edit Page Components, click on it, and Drag and drop the Paragraph page component into the page for editing.

When adding the Paragraph component, you will see the following fields available for configuration:

• Content: Space for App Designers to write and format necessary information. Supports text decoration, image insertion, table creation, and more.
• ID: Assign a custom ID to the Paragraph for identification and styling purposes. For more information about defining the IDs and list reserved IDs, see For element.
