Licenses

Joget is an open-source web-based workflow platform that develops enterprise process management applications and workflows. While it offers flexibility and customization, access to certain advanced features, specialized technical support, and a Joget license are necessary. However, even without a license, the enterprise edition provides access to all features, with the only limitation being that only the top three users in alphabetical order in the dir_user database table can log in.

Several types of licenses are available for Joget, including the Community License and the Enterprise License. The Community License is free and provides full access to Joget's essential features, which are ideal for small-scale projects or personal use. On the other hand, the Enterprise License offers advanced features, specialized technical support, and other additional benefits for companies and organizations requiring a higher service and functionality level. The Enterprise License is acquired through an annual subscription, allowing companies to tailor their licensing model to their specific needs.

Joget also offers two types of applications: Normal and Protected. Normal apps do not require a specific license and are compatible with Community and Enterprise editions. On the other hand, protected apps require a specific license to function correctly in the Joget environment and provide an additional layer of security and control over their deployment and usage.
