Label

The Label Page Component in Joget DX 8 allows you to add and customize labels within your application's pages. This component functions similarly to the labels found in UI Elements, providing a straightforward way to display text with customizable formatting and color.

How does it work?

Test the Label in the built-in Joget DX 8 Showcase app to see how it works.

  1. Login as Admin and Click the Pencil icon on Joget DX 8 Showcase to open the App Composer.
  2. Click the Joget DX 8 Showcase UI to create an environment for testing the Label.
  3. Select an UI element into any category you like. For example, Component Layout.
  4. Click Edit Page Components.
  5. Drag and drop the Label Component from the component palette onto your page.
  6. Customize the label's text, font, size, and color as needed.
  7. Click Preview for the changes to ensure the label displays correctly.

Configure label

To configure the Label component properties, in UI Builder, drag and drop the Rich Text UI element into any category to enable the button Edit Page Components, click on it, and Drag and drop the Label page component into the page for editing.

When adding the Label component, you will see the following fields available for configuration:

  • Label: Enter the text for the label. You can customize the text format and color.
  • ID: Assign a custom ID to the Label for identification and styling purposes.

AJAX & events

Events are fundamental to creating interactive and dynamic web pages, and AJAX enables the development of more responsive web applications without reloading the entire page. In the context of the Accordion component, AJAX & Events can be configured to enhance interactivity and user experience.
