Date Range Filter

The Date Range Filter allows filtering a List column within a specified date range.

Configure date range

To set up a Date Range, go to Design, select a list filter element, click the element to open the general settings, go to the Type field, and select Date Range.

When you select Date Range, you will see the following properties from the element available for configuration:

  • Show Label of Filter?: Check this box to show the filter label.
  • Default Value (From): Default search value for the From date range.
  • Default Value (To): Default search value for the To date range.
  • Label for From Field: Label for the From Field.
  • Label for To Field: Label for the To Field.
  • Display Format: See jQuery UI Datepicker formatDate for the format.
  • Date stored in UTC timezone: Check this box if you are storing dates in UTC timezone in the database.
  • Data Format: Use the Java date format; for example, yyyy-MM-dd for 2011-06-01.
  • Date Picker Year Range: Range of years to be shown before and after the current year.
    Sample format:
    • c-10
    • c+10
  • Enable Time Picker: Check this box to enable the time picker.
