Label-Value Table

Introduction

The Label-Value Table Report Element allows you to generate a simple label-value table, typically used for legends, appendices, or summary tables in reports.

How to use it

To use the Label-Value Table Report Element:

  1. In your report designer, find the Label-Value Table element in the palette.
  2. Drag and drop it onto the report canvas where you need the space.

Configure label-value table properties

Once the Label-Value Table element is added, you can configure its properties.

Fields to Configure:

  • Type: 
    • Static
    • Using Data Binder
  • Data: When Type is set to Static, this option will appear.
    The Data properties are defined here:
    • Label: Column Label.
    • Value: Column Value.
  • Data Store: When Type is set to Using Data Binder, this option will appear. See List Data Store for available data store to use.
  • Label Header/Value Header: Set the header labels for the table columns.

Styling

Field to Configure:

  • Margin Bottom: Define the bottom margin of the table.
    Example
    10px or 10%

Border style

Fields to configure:

  • Padding: Padding of the Border.
    Example
    2px or 2%
  • Size: Size of the Border Style.
    Example
    1px
  • Color: Choose the color through the color picker.
  • Style:
    • Solid
    • Dashed 
    • Dotted
    • Double

Header style

Fields to configure:

  • Bold: If this is checked, the text will be set to bold.
  • Italic: If this is checked, the text will be set to italic.
  • Decoration: 
    • Underline
    • Overline
    • Strike Through
  • Size: Header text size.

    30px
  • Alignment:
    • Left
    • Center
    • Right
  • Color: Choose the color through the color picker.
  • Background Color: Background color of the header row.
Label style

Fields to configure:

  • Width: Width of the Label.
    Example
    50%
  • Bold: If this is checked, the text will be set to bold.
  • Italic: If this is checked, the text will be set to italic.
  • Decoration: 
    • Underline
    • Overline
    • Strike Through
  • Size: Text size.
    Example
    2px or 2%
  • Alignment:
    • Left
    • Center
    • Right
  • Color: Choose the color through the color picker.
  • Background Color: Background color of the label rows.
Value style 

Fields to configure:

  • Width: Width of the Value.
    Example
    50%
  • Bold: If this is checked, the text will be set to bold.
  • Italic: If this is checked, the text will be set to italic.
  • Decoration: 
    • Underline
    • Overline
    • Strike Through
  • Size: Size of the Value Style.
    Example
    2px or 2%
  • Alignment:
    • Left
    • Center
    • Right
  • Color: Choose the color through the color picker.
  • Background Color: Background color of the value rows.
