Generate Report Tool

Introduction

The Generate Report Tool simplifies report creation within the Joget Process Builder. This tool allows you to generate reports effortlessly by integrating real-time data and providing customization options, enabling informed decision-making.

To use the Generate Report Tool, ensure that you have created reports using the Report Builder and understand how to configure form elements in Joget.

Configure generate report tool properties

Go to select Process Builder > Generator Report Tool > Mapping and select Generate Report Tool in the Tools field.

Fields to configure:

  • Record ID: Enter the corresponding identifier for the specific record for which you want to generate the report.
  • Report *: Use the dropdown menu to select the report you created with the Report Builder, or click the + icon to create a new report.
  • Report Parameters:
    • Name *: Specify the parameter name.
    • Value: Set the parameter value.

Store generated report file into form

Fields to configure:

  • Form *: Select Box to select one of the existing forms created using the Form Builder, or click the + icon to create a new form.
  • File Upload Field *: Choose the appropriate file upload field from your form.
  • File Name *: Enter the file name for the generated report.
