API Builder

Introduction

The API Builder simplifies creating custom JSON APIs for your Joget apps by using a drag-and-drop interface similar to the Form Builder. This no-code/low-code approach offers developers a seamless way to integrate Joget with external software.

APIs created with the API Builder follow the OAS3 (OpenAPI Specification), ensuring a standard and well-documented structure. You can manage access to your custom APIs through the Manage API Key Menu in the userview.

Many of the API Builder's default plugins are enhanced versions of existing JSON API functionalities, providing more configuration options.

Plugin information

The API Builder is part of the Addon Builders suite, designed to help you create, manage, and secure custom APIs within your Joget platform. The available API elements cover a wide range of functionality, from managing users to handling forms and processes.
