PPT File Upload Form Element

Introduction

The PPT File Upload plugin allows users to upload PowerPoint Presentation (.ppt/.pptx) files and includes an embedded slideshow viewer that displays the presentation when the view icon is clicked.

You can download this plugin from the Joget Marketplace.

How to install

1. Click Download on this plugin screen (It will be a .jar file).
   
2. Go to your Joget localhost or server. In the Joget Console, go to Admin Bar > Systems Settings > Manage Plugins and click the Upload Plugins button.
   
3. Under Upload Plugin, select the plugin .jar file you downloaded and click Upload.
   
4. You can now view your new plugin in your Form Builder.
5. Remember to uninstall the old plugin before uploading a new version.

How to use it

1. Click the + button in the form builder to create a new form.
   
2. Enter the form details and click Save.
   
3. Drag a PPT File Upload element into the form from the Palette.
   
4. Click Apply Change > Save to save the changes.
5. Generate a CRUD for the form by clicking on Generate App and selecting the checkbox labeled GENERATE CRUD, and then click Generate.
   
6. Launch the app from the UI Builder.
   
7. Click Manage PPT File Upload Form > New from the App to create a new record.
   
8. You can upload a PowerPoint Presentation file by either dragging and dropping it into the input field or selecting it manually from your computer, and then click Save.
   
9. Click Edit on the new record to view the submitted PowerPoint Presentation file.
   
10. Click the Slideshare icon to view the PowerPoint Presentation file.
    

Slideshow Modal Functionalities

1. Click the fullscreen icon located at the top-right corner of the modal to expand the presentation to full screen.
   
2. Navigate between slides using the on-screen left and right arrows or by pressing the left/right arrow keys on your keyboard.
   
3. Reposition the modal by clicking and dragging the top toolbar to the desired location on the screen.
   
4. Adjust the modal size by dragging the resize handle located at the bottom-right corner.
   
5. The modal can be closed by pressing the Escape key, and when reopened, it will reset to its original size and position.

Configure PPT File Upload Form Element Properties

Fields to configure:

• View Slide Show Icon: Allows the user to specify a Font Awesome icon by entering the desired icon class (e.g., fa-slideshare or any other supported Font Awesome icon).
• View Icon Color: Allows customization of the icon color according to the user's preferences.

Expected Outcome

After uploading the PowerPoint presentation file, you can view it by clicking the SlideShare icon, which opens the presentation in a viewer with additional functionality for enhanced interaction.
