Introduction

The Barcode Report Element allows you to generate and display various barcode formats in your Joget application reports. This element is part of Joget's extensible Report Element architecture, allowing end users to easily integrate barcode functionality within their custom reports.

How to use it

To use the Barcode Report Element:

  1. In your report designer, find the Barcode element in the palette.
  2. Drag and drop it onto the report canvas.

Configure Barcode properties

Fields to configure:

  • Format: Select the barcode format from the list.

    • Monarch

    • UPSS
    • Code39 (Extended)
  • (Format) Value: Enter the value to be encoded into the barcode.
  • Show Text?: Check this option if you want the barcode value displayed as text below the barcode.
  • Check Sum?: 
    Note
    This property option will only be displayed if the following options are selected in the Format property:
    • 3of9
    • Code39
    • Int2of5
    • UCCEAN128
    • Std2of5
    • UCECAN128 (00)
    • USD3
    • Code39 (Extended)
  • Application Identifier: 
    Note
    This property will only be displayed if UCCEAN128 was selected in the Format property.
  • Width: Define the width of the barcode.
    Example
    50px or 50%
  • Height: Define the height of the barcode (e.g., 50px).

  • Alignment: Choose the alignment of the barcode.

  • Margin Bottom: Set the bottom margin of the barcode.
